A Great Spread for Your 2017 Super Bowl Party!

Here's another super bowl favorite of mine.

4 slices bacon
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, finely chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped(1/2 cup)
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 cup sour cream.

Cook bacon until crisp, Drain; reserve 2 tbsp. drippings. Crumble bacon, set aside. Saute' mushrooms, onions, and garlic in reserved bacon drippings until tender and most of the liquid has evaporated. Stir in flour, salt, pepper; add cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce. Heat and stir until cheese is melted. Stir in Sour cream and bacon, heat through. Do not boil. Serve warm with rye toasted crackers or other crackers. Makes about 2 1/2 cups. mmmm yum!
