Cottage Casserole

8 oz. wide noodles
1 lb. ground beef
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
Sprinkle of garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup sour cream
3/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese

Cook noodles, rinse, and drain. Brown ground beef. Add tomato sauce and spices to beef and simmer 5 mins. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream and noodles. Spread half of  noodle mixture in 2 qt. casserole dish. Top with half of meat mixture and half mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Bake at 350' for 25-30 mins.
Like lasagna, but easier to make. Freezes well.
