The Best Barbecue Meatloaf

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 onion, chopped
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp salt(optional)
Pepper to taste
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 1/2 cup water
3 Tbsp. vinegar
3 Tsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. yellow mustard
2 Tsp. Worcestershire sauce

To make meatloaf mix, ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper and 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce. Mix thoroughly and form into a loaf. Place in 9 x 13 cake pan. To make barbecue sauce, mix the rest of the tomato sauce, water, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, and Worchestershire sauce in a bowl. Pour over top of meatloaf, Bake at 350' for 1 hour and 15 mins., basting with sauce every 15 minutes.
The sauce is very tasty poured over mashed potatoes!
