Asparagus Brat Salad

10 oz. fresh asparagus
4 oz. linguine
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 lb. smoked brats, cooked and sliced diagonally
2 small tomatoes, cut in wedges
2-3 green onions, chopped
parmesan cheese
1 small bottle creamy Parmesan or caesar dressing

Slice asparagus and cook. Cook pasta, drain and chill. Toss pasta with basil, thyme, and green onions. Add remaining ingredients and toss lightly. Top with parmesan cheese. Cover and chill. Best if made a day in advance. Broccoli or green beans may be substituted. Makes 4 generous servings.
