2 1/2 lbs. round steak<br />
1 lg. can tomatoes<br />
4 lg. carrots, cut up<br />
1 c. celery. sliced<br />
3 onions, quartered<br />
2 slices decrusted bread<br />
3 tbsps. Instant tapioca<br />
1 tsp. salt<br />
Lg. pinches of pepper, rosemary and marjoram<br />
<br />
Braise round steak in a dutch oven. Add tomatoes,<br />
carrots, celery, quartered onions, bread. tapioca,<br />
and remaining ingredients. Cover and bake 4 hours<br />
at 250'. Stir occasionally while baking. Serve<br />
over rice.<br />

1 cup sugar<br />
2 Tbsp. cornstarch<br />
1 cup water<br />
1/2 of a (3 oz.) pkg. of strawberry gelatin<br />
2 cups fresh whole strawberries<br />
9 in. baked pie crust<br />
<br />
In saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and water. Blend<br />
and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove<br />
from heat and immediately stir in the gelatin, Dissolve well.<br />
Cool. Place fresh strawberries in baked pie crust and pour<br />
cooled mixture over. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before<br />
serving. Top with whipped cream. This is my absolute favorite<br />
pie!<br />

1 cup flour<br />
2 Tbsp. sugar<br />
1/4 tsp. salt<br />
1/2 cup butter<br />

Mix as pie crust and pat into ungreased 7 x 11in. pan.<br />

Filling:<br />
4 cups peeled and sliced apples<br />
1/2 cup sugar<br />
1/2 tsp. cinnamon<br />
Arrange apples slices on top of crust. Sprinkle on<br />
top sugar and cinnamon.<br />
<br />
Topping:<br />
1/4 cup flour<br />
1/2 cup sugar<br />
4 Tbsp. butter<br />
1/4 tsp. salt<br />
<br />
Mix toppings until crumbly. Put over top and bake<br />
at 350' for 45-50 minutes.<br />
