Simple Oriental Coleslaw

Simply delicious oriental coleslaw recipe
1 (2oz.) pkg. slivered almonds 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1/4 cup olive oil 2 T. sugar 1 pkg. Ramen Oriental noodles 8 T. chopped green onions 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges(drained) 1 (1 lb.) pkg. pre-cut coleslaw mix
Roast almonds and set aside.
Dressing: Mix together vinegar, oil, sugar and seasoning pack from Ramen noodles.
Chop green onion tops and drained oranges together in a large bowl. Place coleslaw mix, onions and almonds in the bowl. Pour dressing over all, and mix well. Add noodles just before serving.

Watergate Salad Recipe

Watergate Salad Recipe if you like pineapple and pistachio pudding
1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1 package instant pistachio pudding mix
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple and juice
1 cup mini marshmallows
Optional: 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Fold dry pudding mix into the Cool Whip. Add pineapple and
juice, then marshmallows and nuts. Refrigerate. Can also
add green grapes. $8.99

Yogurt Apple Salad

Yogurt apple salad recipe
2 cups chopped apples, unpeeled
3/4 cup sliced celery
1/3 cup raisins
1/ cup vanilla yogurt
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1. Combine apples, celery, and raisins.
2. Combine yogurt and nutmeg.
Toss 1 and 2 together and serve on lettuce leaf.

Tuna-Carrot Salad

Tuna carrot salad recipe

4 carrots, grated
1 czn white tuna, packed in water
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup mayonnaise
Salt and Pepper
1 1/2 cups chow mein noodles

Mix together carrots, tuna, lemon juice, mayonnaise,
Salt and Pepper. Stir in noodles just before serving.
3 to 4 servings

Old Fashion French Stew Recipe

Old fashion French stew recipe. A great comforting dinner meal.

2 1/2 lbs. round steak
1 lg. can tomatoes
4 lg. carrots, cut up
1 c. celery. sliced
3 onions, quartered
2 slices decrusted bread
3 tbsps. Instant tapioca
1 tsp. salt
Lg. pinches of pepper, rosemary and marjoram

Braise round steak in a dutch oven. Add tomatoes,
carrots, celery, quartered onions, bread. tapioca,
and remaining ingredients. Cover and bake 4 hours
at 250'. Stir occasionally while baking. Serve
over rice.
