Coke Roast Recipe

Coke Roast Recipe 2-5 lb. roast 1-2 pkg. dry onion soup mix 1/2 c. ketchup 1 can coke carrots and potatoes(optional)I always add these. Place roast in pan. Put soup mix, ketchup and coke in a bowl and mix. Pour over roast. Bake for 2-3 hours at 300' Add your carrots and potatoes to the roast at the half way point of baking. They need at least a hour to bake with the roast. This is great comfort food.

Turkey Salad for a 100 People

Turkey Salad Recipe for a 100 People 4 qts. turkey, cut in bite size pieces 2 1/2 qts. finely chopped celery 1 green pepper, chopped 2 doz. hard boiled eggs, peeled and chopped 3 boxes ring macaroni, cooked to pkg. direction, rinsed in cold water and drained Mix together: 1 qt. mayonnaise, thinned with; lemon juice and some yellow mustard Combine all ingredients except dressing in a large bowl and toss. Pour dressing over salad, mix well. Chill for several hours.

Marinated Beef Shish-ka-Bobs On The Grill Recipe 3 lbs. top sirloin steak 2 Tbsp. oil 1/2 cup soy sauce 2 Tbsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. ground ginger Dash of worchestershire sauce Dash of onion powder Dash of dill weed Dash of celery salt Dash of basil Dash of thyme Mushrooms Zucchini slices Big chunks of Red and green peppers Big chunks of onion Cherry tomatoes Combine all spices with the sugar, oil, and soy sauce. Cut meat into 1-2 inch pieces. Marinate meat several hours or overnight. Thread on skewers or bamboo sticks alternating with pieces of vegetables. Then cook it on the Grill basting with marinade. You can also broil them.
