Baked Peach French Toast Recipe 1 pkg. cream cheese 10 to 14 (1") slices French bread 1 (29 oz.) can sliced peaches, drained 3 eggs 1 c. milk 1/3 c. maple syrup 2 T. butter, softened 1 T. sugar 1 teas. ground cinnamon 1 teas. vanilla Preheat oven to 400'. Spread cream cheese over both sides of bread slices. Place bread in 13x9 inch baking pan. Prick bread several times. Top with peach slices. In a large bowl whisk eggs, milk, syrup, butter, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Pour mixture over bread. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until set in the center. Makes 6 servings

My Longtime Favorite Homemade Chili Recipe Ingredients: 1 lb. ground beef 1 large onion, diced 1 large green pepper, diced 1 qt. homemade stewed tomatoes 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 2 teas. chili powder, or desired taste 1 teas. salt 1/8 teas. cayenne pepper, or desired haet 1/8 teas. paprika 1 15-1/2 oz. can dark red kidney beans, drained Brown ground beef, onions and green peppers in a skillet until meat is brown, onions and green peppers are tender. Season mixture with a little salt and pepper while cooking. Drain off fat. In a crockpot add ground beef mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients except kidney beans. Cook for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Then stir in kidney beans. Heat, then serve with saltine crackers, cheese and sour cream. Makes 4 to 5 servings(about 1 cup each)

Christmas Crispen Snack Mix with Dried Cranberries Recipe 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. light corn oil 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tea. baking soda 1 box Crispex cereal 1 (6 oz.) bag Craisens(dried cranberries) 2 c. walnuts Cook brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in a pan for 2 mins, after it starts to bubble around edges, remove from heat and add baking soda. In a large buttered bowl mix cereal, craisens and walnuts, pour cooked mixture over and mix. In 2 (13x9 inch) cake pans bake mixture for 15 mins. at '250. Cool and store in a sealed container.
