Mother's Sloppy Joe's Recipe

Image
Best in the world Sloppy Joe's recipe. Like Mom always said "The longer it simmers, the better it will be"! 1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onions 8 oz. can tomato sauce 1/4 c. ketchup 1 T. vinegar 1 T. sugar 1-1/2 tsp. worchestershire sauce salt and pepper to taste Brown beef and onions; drain. Add remaining ingredients and simmer, stirring often. I season with salt and pepper during browning the beef and onions. Tip: add water as liquid reduces while simmering, if needed.

Creamy Potato Bacon Recipe 3 to 4 med. peeled and thinly slices potatoes 1 can cr. celery soup 8 oz. sour cream 3/4 cup milk 12 slices of bacon cooked crispy and crumbled 2 stick green onions slightly chopped Salt and pepper to taste Put your thinly sliced potatoes in the bottom of a casserole dish. Mix together in a bowl your soup, sour cream, milk and bacon. Put over potatoes and mix all together in the casserole dish. Cover and baked at 350' for 1 hour. If potatoes are sliced a little thicker, check to make sure potatoes are done. If not, cook another 10-15 mins. Tip: I salt and pepper the potatoes in casserole dish before mixing in with the other ingredients.
