Jake's Favorite Broccoli Salad

Jake's favorite Broccoli Salad Recipe. 1 bunch of broccoli, separated into flowerets 1 head cauliflower, separated into flowerets 1 lb. pkg. bacon, fried and crumbled 1/3 cup onion, chopped 1 pint cherry tomatoes, cut in half 2 hard boiled cooked eggs, sliced 1 cup mayonnaise 1/3 cup sugar 2 Tbsp. vinegar In large bowl combine broccoli, cauliflower, bacon, onion, tomatoes and eggs; set aside. In another bowl combine mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar; mix until smooth. Just before serving pour dressing over salad and toss. $30.00

Tunaburgers (serves 50)

Good tuna burgers for something different. 8 cans tuna, well drained 1 pt. Miracle Whip 1 sm. jar pickle relish 1 lb. velveeta, cubed 1 onion, cut fine 1/2 cup celery, cut fine Mix well. Put in buns, wrap in foil; bake on flat pan in 350 degree oven, about 30 minutes. $8.00

Grilled Pacific Northwest Salmon

Grilled Pacific Northwest Salmon 8 tbsps. (1 stick) unsalted butter 1/3 cup honey 1/3 cup packed brown sugar 2 tbsps. fresh lemon juice 1 tsp. natural liquid smoke flavor 3/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes 1 (about 2-lbs.) center cut salmon fillet, skin on in 1 piece 1. Combine the butter, honey, brown sugar, lemon juice, liquid smoke, and red pepper flakes in a sauce pan. Cook over medium heat stirring until smooth, 5-7 minutes. Cool to room temperature. 2. Arrange the salmon in a dish just large enough to hold it. Pour the cooled marinade over it and let it stand for 30 minutes turning once. 3. Prepare hot coals for grilling. 4. Oil the grill well and cook the salmon, skin side up, over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Then turn over and cook until the fish flakes easily, another 5-7 minutes. 5. Transfer the fish to a platter and serve immediately. Makes 4 portions $8.99
