Lemon Cake for Valentine's Day Recipe

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 (3oz.) pkg. lemon Jello
4 eggs
3/4 c. water
3/4 c. vegetable oil.

Combine and Beat the first 4 ingredients. Add oil, Beat an additional 1 min. Grease and flour a 9x 13-inch cake pan or use tube pan. Bake 45 mins. at 350'. Before removing cake from oven, prepare glaze.

Glaze:
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. orange juice.

Remove cake from oven. Poke holes in warm cake with a fork on top of the cake. Pour orange juice topping over the cake. Serve when cool, with whipped cream. A very delicious moist cake!

Ground beef Chow Mein recipe 1 lb. ground beef 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 cup celery, diced 1/2 teas. salt 1/4 teas. pepper 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 cup water 1 cup chow mein vegetables 1 small can of mushrooms, drained 3 cups cooked white rice Chow mein noodles Brown ground beef, onions and celery until beef in browned and celery tender, not mushy. Drain off fat. Add water, salt, pepper, soy sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes. Add vegetables, mushrooms, then stir, add soup. Mix together, simmer 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Serve over white rice. Topped with Chow Mein noodles. Delicious!

Strawberry Pretzel Salad Recipe

 1 1/2 c. broken pretzels 1/2 c. butter, melted 1/2 c. sugar 8 oz. cream cheese 16 oz. Cool Whip 1/2 c. sugar 13 oz. can pineapple with juice 1-1/2 c. strawberries Crush pretzels, melt butter. Mix together pretzels, butter and 1/2 c. sugar. Bake in pan covered with tin foil at 350' for 10 mins. Break apart after baking. Store in covered container. Beat 8 oz. cream cheese, fold in 16 oz.
