Yogurt Cake with Chocolate Chips

Yogurt Cake with Chocolate Chips

1 1/2 cups flour
1 teas. baking powder
1/2 teas. soda
1/4 teas. kosher salt
4 tbls. butter, room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
2 large eggs
3/4 cup plain yogurt
1 teas. vanilla
3 tbls. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
confectioners sugar

Preheat oven to 375'. Lightly coat a non-stick bundt cake pan with pan spray.

In med. bowl whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together. In a big bowl cream together the butter and granulated sugar, about 3 mins. Add eggs one at a time, mixing, after each.
In a med. bowl, whisk the yogurt and vanilla together and set aside. Add 1/3 of the flour mixture to the butter/sugar mixture, mixing until no more dryness remains, followed by half of the yogurt mixture. Repeat, ending with the last one third of flour mixture. Use a wooden spoon to mix in the chocolate chips. Put the batter in cake pan. Bake until golden brown, or test the cake with a toothpick and if it comes out clean, it's done! 30-35 minutes. Sprinkle lightly with some confectioners sugar and then enjoy!
