You know when bananas start to ripen, they ripen quickly once they start. To store the ripened bananas, all you have to do is throw them in the freezer. After you accumulate enough, you can make banana bread or banana something. Remove bananas from the freezer and allow to thaw. Be sure there are no ice crystals on the outside. With a scissors cut the tip off a banana. You can then squirt the contents directly in to whatever your making. No need to mash. You will never have to throw away ripened bananas again.
