Sour Cream Oven Baked Hash Brown Potatoes

1 stick margarine, softened
2 lbs. hash brown potatoes
1/2 c. chopped onions
8 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 pint sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix in large bowl. Put in a 9x13 pan. Bake 1 hour at 350'
