Best Popover Recipe Ever
For years I've been making popovers and have tried tons of Popover recipes. For me, this popover recipe always turns out, they don't flop on me, tastes great and looks like a popover should.
1 cup flour
1/2 teas. salt
3 eggs
1 cup warm milk (put in microwave 45 sec.)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
popover pan(s) (greased)
Preheat oven to 450'
Measure ingredients into a bowl and beat until smooth.
Fill each popover pan cups little less than half full
and bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then, poke
holes in each popover with a fork. Put back in oven for
5 minutes with oven turned OFF!
Tip: Never open oven door during the 25 minute cook time-they
may fall(flop)
