1 lb. bacon
1/4 cup vegetable oil
4 cups sauerkraut
onion bits (optional)
Caraway seed (optional)
salt to taste
Cut bacon into small pieces and fry. Then mix the
above with enough flour to make a stiff dough as
for pie crust. Mix well with your hands. Roll out
on floured bread board quite thin. Cut into squares.
Bake on cookie sheet at 350' until crisp.
Tip: Can also be fried in a skillet
