Asparagus Casserole

Asparagus casserole recipe with bacon

2 T. butter
2 T. minced green onions
4 slices cooked bacon, drained and crumbled
1/3 c. grated parmesan cheese
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 lb. asparagus, trimmed

Melt butter in skillet. Saute' onion for 3 minutes, or
until tender. Remove from heat. Stir in bacon, cheese,
and pepper. Meanwhile, steam asparagus for 6 minutes.
Drain. Place hot asparagus in serving dish. Sprinkle
with cheese mixture. Serve immediately.
